End of the First Six Weeks!

Oh my! 

I can't believe we are near the end of the first six weeks of school.

Friday, Oct. 4th  is PICTURE DAY! 
Everyone will have a picture taken, even if you don't make a purchase. 
This photograph will be for the yearbook.

Monday, Oct. 7th is FAIR DAY! 
Student tickets should be going home on Friday. 
Have fun! Eat a corny dog for me. 
I'm going to First Monday instead of the Fair.

Thursday, Oct. 10th is Report Card Conferences

Conferences will only be scheduled on this date, will begin at 3:20, 

and continue in 10 minute intervals until 6:30pm and possibly later.

If you have preferred time please email me as soon as possible

with the time slot you would like!

I will schedule conferences on first request basis. 

Otherwise we will have a phone conference.

Spelling City Announcement

GREAT NEWS ABOUT SPELLING CITY!

Students will now login to access ALL spelling practice games. 

Each student will use "2price" in front of their student number 
for their USERNAME and PASSWORD. 

If their student number is one digit, they need to use zero in front of their number.
           EX: 2price01 
           (username and password for student 1)

If their student number is two digits DO NOT use a zero. 
           EX: 2price15 
           (username and password for student 15)

Week 3 - I'm so EXCITED to be back at school!

Thank you to all the parents who have returned your paperwork so quickly. It is much appreciated. If you still have forms to return please do so immediately!

If you haven’t signed up for Remind101 yet – PLEASE DO! You will find instructions for this in the Parent Information tab.

The Book Fair begins Tuesday, Sept. 10th. We will browse on Monday and make our lists. If your child brings money for the Book Fair they will be allowed to go during our lunchtime to make their purchases. 

Parent Orientation in Thursday evening. Please attend one session only: 5:30, 6:10, OR 6:50. I look forward to meeting you!  I want to hear about the special homework areas you have created for you child at home.

Week 1 Done!

   Ms. Lemmond tells me we had a great first week. I know you have seen numerous papers come home, but please check to make sure you have returned all the forms that should have been filled out and/or signed and return them to the classroom as soon as possible. I noticed 9 of my student's parents signed up for Remind 101 already. Thank you! Remind 101 is so convenient to send you quick notes.

   Next week will be a big week! I expect to return on Monday, Sept. 9^th, then the Book Fair begins on the 10^th, and we have Parent Orientation on the 12^th. The Calendar & Reminders section of my newsletter provides more details about the session times for Parent Orientation. Remember to help your child keep up with their homework.
